Day 1 | BAGDOGRA /NJP TO GANGTOK Meet and greet at airport/railway station and transfer to Gangtok (5600ft.) capital of Sikkim a beautiful hill town in northeast state via mighty Teesta River valley, reach Gangtok check in hotel and evening individual activities. |
Day 2 | NATHULA / BABA MANDIR / TSOMGO LAKE After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) Literally means the "source of the lake" in Bhutia language. It is located at the distance of 38 kms from Gangtok . this lake remains placid during winter months . it has a variety of flowers such as rhododendrons , various species of primulas , blue & yellow poppies , irish etc. and it is also an ideal habitat of red panda and various species of birds too. After that another place to visit is Baba Mandir which lies between Nathula pass and Jelep – la pass, it is a pilgrimage center. Early around 9 am – transfer towards Nathula which is a border line between India and China and it is situated at the altitude of 14,450 ft , to reach Nathula it wil take 56 kms from Gangtok. It is a highest motorable roads and richly covered with varieties of alpine flora and fauna . Even u can see a trade with border resident and Tibet region people, back to Gangtok and overnight stay. |
Day 3 | GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING Early in the morning after breakfast , the place you can visits for local sight seeing starts with Enchey monastery, Chorten monastery, Tashi view point , Ganesh tok , Hanuman tok , Flower complex which gives you a glimpse of wild orchids found in Sikkim , Gangtok rope way , Namgyal institute of tibetology Rumtek dharma chakra center , Banjhakri falls , Bakthang waterfalls , Hur –huray dara ( namg nang). later evening back to the hotel, overnight stay. |
Day 4 | GANGTOK TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP RAILYWAY STATION After breakfast , transfer back to njp station or Bagdogra airport which is a 4 hrs drive distance , on the way u can even take a wild water rafting at teesta river with a thrilling adventure, tour ends at this point and boarding back to your destination with a sweet memory of northeast. |
