Day 1 | BAGDOGRA TO KALIMPONG Meet and greet at airport/njp and transfer to Kalimpong a beautiful hill Town in a peaceful environment and on the way , enjoy the breath taking view of teesta river which flows along the roadside . it takes 2.5 hrs to reach . check in hotel and evening visit Kalimpong Market by walking (closed at 7 pm) overnight stay. |
Day 2 | KALIMPONG SIGHTSEEING After breakfast at 8 am enjoy Kalimpong sightseeing Dr.Graham's Home school, Delo hills, Science City, Flower nursery, Mangal Dham, durpin monastery , hanuman mandir located on the hill top , water garden at relli organized by the local youth , and after Lunch transfer to Gangtok on the way visit 3mile cave mandir . it takes 3 hrs drive to Gangtok (5600ft) Capital of Sikkim, check in hotel and overnight halt. |
Day 3 | GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING After breakfast enjoy Gangtok sightseeing, Banjhakri Water falls , flower show , Chorten Stupa, Tibetology, Ropeway ride (Cable car), rumtek monastery , himalayan zoological park , hanuman tok c , tashi view point , ganesh tok , fambong lho scantuary , enchey monastery et and later back to the hotel and enjoy evening walk in and around gangtok town . over night stay . |
Day 4 | FULL DAY EXCURSION TO LAKE AND BABA MANDIR After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake which is located 12,400 ft and the actual name of the tsomgo lake is TSO GO , meaning " above the lake " given by the yak herders , who in one time use to dwell above the lake . the tsomgo lake is situated very close to the kyongnosla alpine sanctuary and falls in the sub –alpine zone . the lake lies in a depression and is surrounded by high rocky cliffs on both sides. The lake is frozen during between november and march , most of the tourist and local people worship during "guru poornima". Tsomgo lake is 35 kms from gangtok . Next stop is Baba Mandir which is located at 13,200 ft, which is 60 kms one way from Gangtok city. Baba Mandir lies between the nathula and jelep –la- pass was built in the memory of sepoy harbhajan singh of 23 rd punjab regiment . today it is a place of pilgrimage for the service personal as well as the civilians and the tourist . Overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.) overnight stay. |
Day 5 | TRANSFER TO DARJEELING After breakfast enjoy your journery back to darjeeling Known as the 'Queen of the Hills', it has a steep and curve roads which rides up the hills and gives u a glimpse of two gaint rivers of rangit and teesta which joins into one , and as soon as u reach to a certain height , you could find a breathtaking tea estate which falls on the hill side . Darjeeling is one of the most famous hill stations in the world. Check-in at the hotel overnight stay. |
Day 6 | DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING Early in the morning before dawn at 4 am proceed to Tiger Hill to watch the breathtaking sunrise and its reflection rays over the Khancendzonga Ranges. On the way back Visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery back to hotel at 7 am. After Freshen up and breakfast at the hotel visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park and Tenzing Rock, Tea Garden, Japanese Temple, Refugee self help centre and ropeway, overnight stay Darjeeling. Enjoy the rest of the evening for shopping . |
Day 7 | DARJEELING TRANSFER TO NJP/BAGDOGRA After breakfast proceed to Mirik lake 2 hours driving distance on the way visit Thurbu Tea garden, and beautiful valley, visit Pashupati (India-Nepal Boarder), Mirik lake, boating and horse riding After lunch transfer to Bagdogra/njp, Tour end at this point and boarding with sweet memory of Northeast. |
