| Day 1 | GANGTOK TO LACHEN VALLEY Morning around 11 30 am , transfer towards to lachen and on the route to lachen , you can have a great view of mountain range mt kanchendzonga and on the way u will have a picture view waterfalls and one of them is the famous seven sister falls which makes u feel worth to take a photo in front of it . then, on the way , lunch at phodong , and proceed towards chungthang , which is a sub divisional office of north sikkim . proceed towards lachen and check in at the hotel , have tea or coffee and evening dinner and early bed. |
| Day 2 | GURUDONGMER LAKE TO LACHUNG VALLEY Early in the morning around 5 am proceed to Gurudongmer Lake (17200ft) 3 hours drive from Lachen, via Thangu and Chopta valley, take a break for breakfast, tea or coffee at Thangu valley (This is a acclimatized zone before proceeding to Gurudongmer Lake /Guru with red face), Proceed ahead watching beautiful landscaped (Gurudongmer lake is one of the Sacred lake where Gurupadmasambhava taken one night stay out here before leaving for Tibet (it's a boarder area of Sikkim and Tibet). Back to lachen at 12 noon, take a Lunch and transfer to Lachung overnight stay. |
| Day 3 | LACHUNG –YUMTHANG- BACK TO GANGTOK Morning have a breakfast and take a excursion towards yumthang valley which is 24 km from lachung which is at the height of 11800 ft and it is know as the valley of flowers – with the marvelous blend of rodhendoun flowers which gives a gateway to heaven, take a dip at a hot spring which is located just below the mountain range and after that on the way back to lachung u can visit lachung gumpa which is the oldest monastery located on the high altitude.get back to lachung and have a walk in and around lachung valley . and back to gangtok. |
